Dessert option for a dinner party
Prep time: 15-20 minutes if no baking is involved
Cook time: 0 minutes.
Possible ingredients for chocolate version:
- Brownies and or chocolate chip cookies (to cut time, buy pre-made)
- 1 package of instant chocolate pudding
- 1 package of instant vanilla pudding
- Bananas (or any other fruit)
- Chocolate sauce
- Whipped cream
Possible ingredients for vanilla version:
- Raspberry pie filling (or any fruit pie filling)
- Mini sponge cake or angel food cake, crumbled or cut into pieces
- 1 package of instant vanilla pudding
- Bananas (or any other fruit)
- Whipped cream
Directions:
1. If you need to make brownies or cookies from scratch, do so at the beginning.
2. Following the directions on the box, make the instant pudding. Set aside.
3. Crumble up the brownies, cookies, cake, and anything else you’re adding.
4. Slice the banana or any fruit you’re using
5. To assemble, layer the ingredients in a large wine goblet or clear dessert glass however you’d like. Make sure to use contrasting colours and solids against liquids (if you add two liquids, such as the two puddings, they’ll mix and stick together, ruining the presentation. Separate the pudding with brownies or bananas).
6. Either serve immediately or let set in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
7. Top with whipped cream before serving
