Letter: Western girl proves @wstrngirl’s point

To the Editor:

“Western Girl”? Really?

I am so disappointed that the Gazette did a feature on someone who hides behind their computer screen while insulting and mocking their peers. What makes @wstrngirl so special that she has the right to bash people who she doesn’t know, purely based on the way they look?

Is it because she is “prettier?” Well prove it — oh wait, she can’t. Because she is anonymous. No one knows who she is and I bet she is scared to let people know.

I think it’s sad and pathetic that she has to put people down anonymously in order to make herself feel better.

Physically, I am one of those people that she talks about. I wear Uggs and Lulus because they are comfortable. I wear a lot purple because I am proud to be a Western Mustang, and I am blonde because that is the way my hair grows naturally.

But where in that description does it say that I am ditzy and stupid?

Personally I think it is stupid to waste your time “chilling” in the spoke posting rude comments on twitter. But if @wstrngirl feels like that is a valuable way to spend her time then she can continue to do so, while I study in Weldon and earn my degree. Whoever you are, @wstrngirl, here is some advice for you: stop being a Gossip Girl copycat on Twitter, pick a major and get over yourself. No one actually cares.
