On Friday evening, the Western Mustangs women's basketball team experienced playing at Mattamy Athletic Centre against Ryerson for the first time this year. It wasn't easy.

The Ryerson Rams ended Western's season with a 83–64 win on Saturday.

Henry Tan's late three pointer ended the Mustangs men's basketball season in the first round of the playoffs.

Western sank 52.4 per cent of their shots, including 12 three-pointers. They capitalized on their chances whenever they came, as 27 of their points came off turnovers.
