Kelsey Veltman was named OUA West Player of the Year and was also named a U Sports Second Team All-Canadian.

After a 3-0 loss to the Dalhousie Tigers during the last day of the U Sports championship, the Mustangs finish their season ranked sixth in the country.

The Mustangs got their gold medal redemption on McMaster, defeating the Marauders in four sets in the consolation semi-finals a week after McMaster edge out the Mustangs for the OUA gold. The Mustangs will advance to tomorrows fifth place game. 

The Mustangs were eliminated from medal contention at the 2017 USports national tournament in Toronto on Friday afternoon after dropping a 3-1 quarterfinal decision to the UBC Thunderbirds. 


Mustangs women's volleyball will come home as silver medalists, after losing a heartbreaking five-set match against the rival McMaster Marauders. 

Women's volleyball ruins Toronto's perfect season and advances to the OUA gold medal game as well as the national volleyball championship.
