London Police Service charged the two drivers who sent two Western University students to the hospital on Saturday night.
Two vehicles collided at the Sarnia Road and Western Road intersection on Saturday, Sept. 9 around 8 p.m. The collision caused one of the vehicles to jump the curb and hit two pedestrians.
Both pedestrians were upper-year Western students, according to an email sent to Essex, London, Perth and Ontario Hall students on Sunday morning.
London police Const. Caitlin Norman said one driver is charged with running a red light and the other is charged with making an unsafe left turn.
The victims were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and were in stable condition.
